| PJS Music Director Patty Waxman |
Phoenix Junior Strings Music Director Patty Waxman earned music degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Michigan State University. She's performed with groups including West Valley Symphony, Arizona Broadway Theatre, MusicaNova Orchestra and Phoenix Opera Orchestra. Waxman maintains a private studio and has taught at Rosie's House in Phoenix.
PJS partner violinist Katrina Becker has performed with MusicaNova Orchestra, the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, the West Valley Symphony and the Mesa Symphony (now Symphony of the Southwest).She earned a degree from Northern Arizona University and teaches private lessons at Harmony House and other studios in Phoenix. Becker spent ten years as an on-air music host at all-classical 89.5 KBAQ.
Additional coaches include violinist/violist Cynthia Dubrow and other professional musicians and teachers from across Arizona.
